Casus Belli

The words spoken by President Bush last night allude to an ominous future:

Bush said the United States and its allies were united in insisting that Iran not develop nuclear weapons. Speaking directly to the Iranian people, Bush looked toward a different future for their country and said the United States "hopes one day to be the closest of friends with a free and democratic Iran."
These words seem a little too familiar. All you have to do is change the "WMD" to "nuclear weapons" and then change the "q" to an "n". Not good.

The fact that Iran's President doesn't do anything to help himself look like less of a wildcard on the international front only makes this more and more inevitable. This is not a good thing for the United States or for the rest of the world.

Any good military strategist will tell you not to commit all of your forces in one area - it leaves your flank wide open. Think of this on a grand, global scale and that is exactly the battlefield that is forming. The words, "Not good" keep coming out... over and over...
