Just Like Riding A Bike
This afternoon, Diane took her first spin on a bicycle - the first for quite a few years.
I told her, "Its just like riding a bike!" - which, of course, it is.
After a bit of hesitation and a quick lesson on the 21 speeds, she was off. This is the first step. From here, we are going to build until we make a full length, long distance ride together.
She needed a few adjustments to the seat height and then it was down to the far barn and back a few times. She did find out that she requires a bit of additional padding in "sensitive" areas....which a trip to the bike shop for a pair of padded riding shorts (oh, she is going to look so hot in them!) will take care of...and then we are going to be in business.
