The Entitlement Generation Is Upon Us!

Okay, now I can see that some voice should come from the Whitehouse expressing sympathy for those who lost family in the recent school shooting - but to get outraged when no formal expression is offered?

"If we were 'white', he would have said something..."

This is just another example of the "entitlement" generation we have created. Yes, I think that what the kid did in Minnesota was a bad thing. Any time that one person takes another life for no apparent reason, it is bad. Personally, I feel for the families affected, but I can't worry if the President should say something about it. A friend of mine was killed in a car accident a few years back. It was tragic and senseless. However, using this line of reasoning, I guess I should be upset that the President didn't personally express his sorrow - and my friend was even white, so of course the President SHOULD have said something...

I am afraid of where we are going to be as a society in a very short amount of time.
