Catalan NOW!

Looks like Catalonia is one step closer to independence from Madrid.

This is just going to piss the Basque off...

But, Barcelona must have been hopping when they heard the news....imagine the party on the Ramblas when Catalan Independence comes!

Nope, this is not going to make us mad, we the Basques are happy for our friends the Catalonians.

The representatives of the PNV in Madrid voted in favor.

Their victory is our victory, we have been on the same side since the 1930's.

The only ones that are going to be really pissed off are the Spaniards that cling to their colonialist past, the ones that still believe in the Francoist mantra of One Spain Under God and also the right wingers from the USA and a few other countries.

I truly hope your dreams of independence are what you get. As I have told my Catalan family - BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR, IT MIGHT JUST COME TRUE!

I have heard tales of oppression under Franco...and now it is time for the groups to seek out the limits of autonomy....
